Wat you need to make a Walnut Cake with coffee cream filling...

Cake Ingredients:
8 oz Self raising flour
4 oz Margarine
4 oz Sugar
2 oz Dried fruit
2 oz Walnut pieces
Pinch of salt
2 Eggs
4 Tablespoons of milk.

Method:
Heat oven 177`c
1. Sieve flour and salt together
2. Cut fat into small pieces and using fingertips rub the fat into the flour until you have fine breadcrumbs.
3. Add sugar, dried fruit and walnuts and stir into the mixture.
4. Beat egg in a small basin and add the milk.
5. Add the liquid into the mixture and mix with a round bladed knife. The cake should have a dropping consistency. Divide the mixture into 2 round greased cake tins.
6. Bake for 30 - 45 minutes.
When the cake is cool make the coffee cream filling.
Coffee Butter Cream...
Ingredients:
4 oz Soft margarine or butter
6 oz Sieved icing sugar
2 Teaspoons of coffee powder bended with 2 dessertspoons hot water.
Method:
1. Cream margarine and icing sugar together until pale and fluffy.
2. Add the blended coffee powder and water. Stir well.
3. Spoon the mixture between the cakes and sandwich together...
